Pregnant Jessica Simpson Talks Baby On 'Tonight Show,' 'Ellen'

Though it looks as if she could give birth at any moment, almost nothing will stop Jessica Simpson from promoting her latest TV show, "Fashion Star." She stopped by both the "Tonight Show" and "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" to talk a bit about her new series, but mostly about impending motherhood and being really, really pregnant.

"Labor is really going to hurt," Simpson told Jay Leno on "Tonight," after revealing she's been having Braxton Hicks contractions lately. "I have so much respect for my mom and all the women across the world."

Leno joked about how long it took Simpson to get to her seat, saying he thought maybe she was giving birth backstage, but the "Fashion Star" mentor took the teasing in stride.

"We're waddling now," she said, revealing that though it feels as if she could give birth at any moment, she still has a few more weeks to go.

Simpson recently showed off her growing baby bump on the cover of Elle's April issue, posing nude for an iconic Demi Moore-esque cover, and revealed she and her fiance, former NFL player Eric Johnson, were expecting a girl.

Simpson also shared with Leno her shock and excitement when she found out she was expecting.

"We weren't trying, but we were definitely practicing -- and not safely practicing," she said, laughing.

Simpson and Johnson were engaged when they learned a baby was on the way, and have since put their wedding on hold until their baby girl arrives.

"I want him to be my husband so bad, and I do still want to wear the pretty gown and everything, and I have to wait until after the baby," Simpson said. "And now [our daughter will] just be in the wedding!"

Simpson recently dropped by "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" as well -- her episode airs Tuesday -- and yes, there was a paramedic on standby should she go into labor. But for those thinking she may be expecting twins, think again.

"There is only one, there is only one girl," Simpson said when asked how many babies she was carrying. "But I did get knocked up by a baller ... A big football player."

Though Simpson said she and Johnson already have a name picked out for their daughter, which they are keeping under wraps, DeGeneres gave them some nice options thanks to her "Celebrity Baby Name Generator," including Stapler Thunderstorm and Thursday Foghorn.

"I will think about it," Simpson joked.

Britney Spears On 'X Factor': Should A Lip-Syncer Judge Talent Show?

As reports swirl that Britney Spears is still in talks with Simon Cowell to join Fox's "The X Factor," we have to ask: Should an infamous lip-syncer be judging a talent competition?

"I think the more experienced the singer, the better," observes Taylor Hicks, "American Idol" winner, of Britney's potential new gig. "The fact that a legit performer is giving you constructive criticism holds a lot more weight in my opinion."

Fellow performer Debbie Gibson agrees that the show needs a judge whose raw talent speaks for itself.

"Absolutely not!" Debbie tells me when asked if Britney should join the show. "I definitely think if vocals are what the show is about, then the judges need to walk the walk or sing the song."

However, several industry insiders point out that Cowell himself isn't a performer, yet he has a cozy spot behind the judges' table.

"I think Britney would be great for 'X Factor' given all the experience she has as being a global superstar," says Daymond John of ABC's "Shark Tank." "She will be able to provide some incredible guidance and advice to all the contestants. Britney has also faced adversity and has come back from many personal challenges, and the public always supports her. She is more than just her voice."

Britney may have the experience to determine who has the makings of a superstar, but will she make for good TV?

"I don't hold lip-syncing against a performer. Almost everybody does it at one point or another," says Joe Levy, former editor of Rolling Stone, who worked with Britney on several covers. "Britney's done this since she was a kid. She's got enough experience to judge whether or not someone is a good performer. I'd be more concerned about her talking without a script for the first time in her life than judging someone's pitch."

Maybe the best suggestion comes from Lindsay Lohan's mother, who offers up the name of a similar lip-syncing legend: "Cher’s knowledge and personality makes her the perfect replacement."

Dina Lohan may be on to something, and we have a feeling that Cher wouldn't scoff at a $10 million offer.

Rihanna, Chris Brown Reunite On Two Remixes (VIDEO)

We were already trying to wrap our heads around the news that Chris Brown would lend his voice to Rihanna's "Birthday Cake" remix, but the singers have managed to blow our minds a little bit more.

On Monday the former couple (who are rumored to be seeing each other in secret) threw us for a loop when they both released remixes featuring each others vocals.

We knew that Brown was the "shocking" addition to "Birthday Cake" that producers promised, but we were more than surprised to hear Rihanna singing on Brown's remix for "Turn Up The Music."

The songs dropped simultaneously and couldn't have been released at a more opportune time. Brown has been a hot topic in the media this past week after he shot back at critics like country singer Miranda Lambert, who were upset to see him honored and performing at last week's Grammy Awards. Lambert, and other celebrities, spoke out against the music industry officially welcoming Brown back into its good graces for the first time since he brutally assaulted Rihanna in 2009.

Though "RIP Chris Brown" started trending on Twitter after the 22-year-old singer wrote that winning a Grammy was the "ultimate F**k OFF," his career is somehow still alive.

Although many aren't ready to forgive Brown, the remixes are proof that Rihanna certainly has. The 24-year-old singer seems to have extended an olive branch to Brown and perhaps her heart as well. Hearing Rihanna sing on Brown's song the words, "I love you baby," and Chris singing on "Birthday Cake": "Girl I wanna f**k you right now. Been a long time, I've been missing your body," only further fuels rumors the two have being seeing each other in secret.

Angelina Jolie Tears Up—Watch Her Get Emotional

No one can deny that Angelina Jolie put her blood, sweat and tears into her filmmaking debut. And Tuesday night, the emphasis was on the tears.

While attending the Bosnian premiere of her hard-fought directing debut In the Land of Blood and Honey, Jolie became overcome with emotion and teared up with emotion while taking the stage at her cinematic homecoming.

While Angie was all business on the red carpet beforehand, when she took to the stage later on in the night, she seemed immediately overcome after receiving a standing ovation from the crowd.

"It means so much to all of us, it means so much to me and I can't tell you how much it means to be here with all of you and to share this film and that you're receiving it so warmly means the world to me," a clearly emotional and shaky-voiced Jolie told the crowd before the film.

"I care so deeply for all of you in this country."


Rapturous and encouraging applause in the 5,000-strong auditorium in which the film screened, naturally followed.

Jolie was joined by Brad Pitt at the screening, but it was apparently a quick trip. The duo was spotted flying back out of the country yesterday.

Three cheers for Madonna

Madonna’s betting on a lot of overlap between her fan base and Gronk’s. Not only is she jumping back into the scene with her Sunday halftime gig, but her “Give Me All Your Luvin’ ” video is an orgy of rah-rahing cheerleaders and beefy football players.

The video, released yesterday along with the single, aims to bridge Madonna’s heyday and her (planned) comeback. It’s packed with references to her signature looks (“Like a Virgin” rosary beads, Marilyn Monroe outfits) and modern Lady Gaga weirdness (the cheerleaders wear creepy anime masks). To show she’s eternally hip, the clip also features Nicki Minaj and M.I.A. leading the chant of “L-U-V Madonna!”

Without the video, the song is a simple, sweet piece of pop. It will need a remix to get the clubs thumping (it’s too slow), and Gwen Stefani kind of owns the pop cheerleader thing. But the song has enough going for it — hypnotic melody, sugary synths, Minaj rap, industry muscle — to make the Top 10.

Kim Kardashian Divorce: Will Trial Be Televised?

It's no surprise that Kim Kardashian's divorce may soon be coming to a TV near you.

Hollywood Life reported Friday that, should Kardashian's divorce from Kris Humphries land in court, the proceedings could be televised because California has an "open policy" on popular cases.

If Kardashian wished to keep the proceedings private, she could either reach a financial settlement with Humphries outside of court or accept his request for an annulment. Doing the latter would likely lead to unwanted exposure, celebrity divorce lawyer Raoul Felder told the Huffington Post in November 2011.

"An annulment is based on fraud... it requires corroboration, witnesses to back it up," Felder said. "The average person with a 60-day marriage would be talking with their lawyer about an annulment. But there is a lot of exposure involved in it and I just don't think they want that. I think in this case it would hurt them; it's easier to get divorced."

Kardashian filed to divorce Humphries just 72 days after their August nuptials. Despite reports that Humphries planned to sign the divorce docs, he instead filed for an annulment on the basis of fraud.

Under California law, Humphries would need to prove "deception regarding a significant matter that led to the marriage or the partnership and continued until the breakup" in order for his annulment request to be fulfilled.

Hollywood Life suggests that Humphries' team may be planning to use footage from "Kourtney & Kim Take New York" as evidence of fraud, which they believe was "developed with the theme of divorce, without without Kris being made aware of it," a source told the website.

Indeed, Kardashian's discontent with her marriage played out all season on the show. In the Jan. 29 season finale, she tearfully breaks down about her ill-fated relationship after refusing to allow Humphries to move his things to her Los Angeles home.

Could the televised proceedings be anything like SNL's viral sketch, "Kim's Fairytale Divorce"? We sure hope so.

Rooney Mara Covers Vanity Fair's Hollywood Issue, Talks David Fincher

Rooney Mara transformed to take on her dark role in David Fincher's "Girl With The Dragon Tatoo" and now she's channelling the 1920s on the new cover of Vanity Fair.

The actress shares the annual "Hollywood Issue" cover with other fresh-faced actresses such as Mia Wasikowska, Jessica Chastain, Jennifer Lawrence, Elizabeth Olsen, Adepero Oduye, Shailene Woodley, Paula Patton, Felicity Jones, Lily Collins and Brit Marling.

In an interview at the photo shoot, Mara reveals that her teenage crush while growing up was none other than Radiohead's Thom Yorke, but today her admiration lies with actors who stay out of the spotlight.

"I think most of the actors that I admire most don't get that much press, but, on purpose," she said. "I think usually, throughout the year, some of the best performances are under the radar. I usually think that the most interesting work is the work that's not viewed by the masses."

Mara also recounted her time filming "Dragon Tattoo" with Finch, and downplayed the urban legend that the director does thousands of takes for each scene.

"He definitely does more takes than the average person, but it's not an absurd amount," she said. "He makes this point [that] you spend all this money and time in pre-production getting ready to shoot, and so much goes into it, and you get there and do three takes and you're done. It's like, 'What's the point?' Everyone has put in all this effort, you may as well explore it and do it right."

And while she still hadn't seen "Girl With The Dragon Tattoo" at the time of Vanity Fair's cover shoot, she did admit there is one movie she'd watch no matter the time or the place, and it's a guilty pleasure she shares with her fellow cover star Jessica Chastain: "Zoolander."

Whoops! Celine Dion Accidentally Flashes Crowd in Jamaica

Taking Chances with her wardrobe proved not to be the best bet for Celine Dion.

The superstar singer gave fans a little more than they bargained for when she took the stage in a short dress…and accidentally flashed them during her performance at the Jamaica Jazz and Blues Festival in Jamaica Friday night, E! News has learned exclusively.

"The short gold dress was Balmain....was that short enough?" Dion said with a laugh when "The Trend," a fashion series on Zappos Couture, asked Celine about her fashion choices.

"Because normally when people are level the length is fine. But people were like this (looks up).... So it was like I didn't think of the people downstairs and me there," the 43-year-old singer continued.

Dion, who gave birth to twins Eddy and Nelson 14 months ago, later changed into a more conservative getup of shiny silver leggings, a white blazer and a white and silver top, according to the Daily Mail.

The festival was held with the support of the Jamaica Tourist Board.

Lindsay Lohan Sued By Pedestrian Allegedly Struck By Star's Sports Car

LOS ANGELES -- Lindsay Lohan's bad luck with cars continues after a woman who claims she was struck by the actress' sports car sued over her injuries Wednesday. Nubia Del Carmen Preza claims she was struck by Lohan's Maserati while walking through a West Hollywood intersection in September 2010.

Preza's lawsuit states she has suffered "disabling and serious personal injuries, pain, suffering and anguish" and that she is seeking damages for all her medical expenses and lost time at work. A call to her attorney, Gregory Picco, seeking additional details was not immediately returned.

It is the second lawsuit filed against Lohan this month involving an automobile mishap. A paparazzo sued Lohan Jan. 10, claiming that he was struck in January 2010 by a vehicle in which Lohan was riding. Grigor Balyan claims he was trying to shoot pictures of the actress in Hollywowhen he was hit.

Preza's lawsuit states Lohan was driving when she was hit on the afternoon of Sept. 1, 2010, at an intersection just south of the Sunset Strip. At the time, Lohan lived near the intersection.

Lohan's spokesman Steve Honig said neither Lohan nor her attorneys had been served with the lawsuit and could not comment on it.

The model and actress remains on probation for a 2007 drunken driving case filed after she was arrested twice that year on suspicion of driving while impaired.

One of the incidents sparked two civil lawsuits after Lohan chased a vehicle she thought was carrying her former assistant on Pacific Coast Highway. One of the cases has settled. The other, filed by three men who were in the SUV Lohan was driving, may go to trial in March.

Lohan's attorney in that case, Ed McPherson, has said the men had plenty of chances to get out of the vehicle and called the case "absurd."

The "Mean Girls" star has received two positive probation reports since a judge ordered her to perform weekly morgue cleanup duties in November. the actress may be off supervised probation by the end of March.

Brittany Murphy's Cause Of Death: Actress Killed By Toxic Mold Says Mother

Brittany Murphy's mother claims toxic mold found in her daughter's Hollywood home is to blame for both Brittany and her son-in-law's Simon Monjack's deaths.

Brittany died of pneumonia in 2009 and just months later her husband suffered the same fate.

TMZ reports Brittany's mother Sharon Murphy claims the people who built the house are to blame for the mold that caused their illnesses. In a new lawsuit, Sharon alleges she was misled by her lawyers and tricked into giving up her rights to sue the builders for wrongful death.

According to TMZ, Murphy's mother says her lawyers convinced her to accept a settlement offer for the construction problems in January, but they didn't explain that the settlement included a stipulation so that she would never be able to sue the builders for their alleged role in her daughter's death.

Not content with this, Sharon has hired a new attorney to sue her former ones for legal malpractice and demanding they pay her what she could have won in a wrongful death suit.

When Murphy passed away two years ago at the age of 32, many speculated her death was drug or eating disorder related, however it was determined the actress died of natural causes.
